I'm a self-taught developer and domain builder based in The Hague, Netherlands. Since January 2024 I've been building platforms, Turkish and English language web platforms from scratch using AI, self-hosting everything I use.
I got into coding through pure curiosity tinkering with hardware, spinning up servers, breaking things and fixing them. That same drive still pushes every project I ship. Currently studying Data Science & AI at Leiden University.
When I'm not shipping features, I'm managing a 100TB Unraid NAS, running self-hosted AI models on a 12GB VRAM GPU, or exploring the next interesting problem to solve.
Turkish-language TV show discovery & community platform. Users find series by mood, track watch status, rate shows, and browse a curated Top 100. Integrates JustWatch Partner Program for streaming availability, Google AdSense-ready, and includes a full TV calendar and algorithm-assisted recommendations.
Turkish travel & road trip planning platform. Generates day-by-day itineraries with cost estimates, map-based route visualization, and curated destination guides.
Exam prep platform for SAT, IELTS, and AP students. Bite-sized daily sessions, real-format practice questions, progress tracking, and gamified habit formation.
Turkish university discovery & comparison platform. Students search, compare, vote on, and comment on universities to make more informed education decisions.
A social platform built collaboratively. Contributing to architecture, backend APIs, and deployment — working alongside another developer to ship and iterate.
Started with an Orange Pi, grew into a full Unraid NAS managing ~100TB. Runs Plex, Immich, WireGuard VPN, LLaMA & Stable Diffusion on a 12GB GPU, bridged VMs, internal DNS — zero cloud dependency.
Starting my Bachelor's in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at Leiden University, Netherlands. Bridging the gap between software engineering, statistics, and machine learning.
European hackathon held in the Netherlands. Built a real-time collaboration tool in 24 hours and placed top 10 out of 200+ teams.
Hands-on internship at Normedline in Istanbul's Kadıköy district. Supported daily operations and contributed to team projects, gaining real-world experience in a professional environment.
14-day residential summer school at Royal Holloway University, England. Academic sessions, onsite activities, and international peer networking. An early experience in a serious academic environment outside Turkey.
Built a fully interactive Discord bot in Python during the pandemic. Commands for moderation, scheduling, and fun. First real taste of async programming, shipping something people actually use, and iterating on feedback.
